Angevine Farm
Warren, Connecticut · Litchfield County
Opens late November
Opens late November.
Angevine is the Litchfield Hills stop, 40 acres up in Warren where six kinds of tree — Fraser, concolor, balsam and Canaan fir, blue spruce and white pine — grow five to ten years before anyone cuts them. Harvest-your-own is a flat $80 with tax in, netting $5 more.
The Wreath Barn and the Christmas Barn gift shop take care of the rest of the trip, with hot chocolate and local baked goods through December 13. Reservations are the thing to know here: booking opens November 1 and is required for the weekend after Thanksgiving and the first weekend in December. Tabletop trees by the gift shop don't need one.
