Usually opens the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov 21–22) — the farm hasn’t posted its 2026 dates yet, so confirm before you drive.

Maple Row is more than 200 acres of Easton hillside with nine kinds of tree growing on it — balsam, Fraser, Canaan, concolor and Douglas fir, blue, Norway and white spruce, and white pine — so most families find what they came for without walking past the first few rows.

Weekends bring free hayrides, hot cocoa and a crowd; weekdays take $14 off every tree and leave you the fields. Wrapping is free, cards are fine and checks are not, and there's a $20 weekend parking fee if you're visiting without buying a tree or a wreath.

How do I dispose of a Christmas tree in Connecticut?: Not at the farm — getting rid of a tree is a city service, and the rules change at the city line. We haven't read a Connecticut city's collection page yet. The list linked just above is every city we do have, and each page is that city's own words on the three ways a tree leaves the house: curbside pickup, a drop-off site, or a program that chips it.
Where can I recycle a Christmas tree?: Wherever your own city takes them — it is a city service, so the answer changes at the city line. 40 of the 56 cities on the list linked just above say on their own pages what becomes of a collected tree; the rest describe the collection and stop there, and so do we.
Who handles Christmas tree removal once the season is over?: The city, or the county authority that runs collection for it — that is the body every page in that January list is read from, and the only one that can tell you when it is running. Private haulers will take a tree away as well; they are not on this site, because we only write down what a city puts in writing itself.
