The Rocks Christmas Tree Farm
Bethlehem, New Hampshire · Grafton County
Opens Nov 21
Opens November 21.
The Rocks is the Forest Society's 1,400-acre estate in Bethlehem, and cutting a tree here is a White Mountains habit that goes back generations. Every tree is cut-your-own this season — balsam and Fraser fir, roughly four to eight feet — and hand saws and sleds are waiting for you at the barn.
Weekends are the whole outing: horse-drawn wagon rides out to the fields, a fire pit with hot chocolate, s'mores and kettle corn for sale, kids' crafts, and the gift shop and exhibit inside the restored Carriage Barn. Restrooms are heated and accessible with changing stations, leashed dogs are welcome, and they take cards, cash or checks.
Dates are already set: first sale day is Saturday, November 21, then daily from Friday, November 27 through Sunday, December 13, with the gift shop open a week longer. If someone in your group can't get out to the fields, call or email a week ahead and they'll work something out.
