Linvilla is the Philadelphia area's Christmas farm, and Delaware County families have been riding the wagon out to its fields since they were kids themselves. Cut-your-own is mostly five- to seven-foot Douglas fir at one flat price with the saw included; the pre-cut lot carries eight kinds, from balsam and Canaan fir through Scotch pine and blue spruce.
The rest of Christmasland is why the trip eats an afternoon — Santa on weekend afternoons, pony rides and a petting zoo, a weekend makers market, wood-fired pizza, and the farm market and garden center at the front gate. No ticket or reservation for the trees, but be on the last wagon: it pulls out at 4 sharp.

- Cut-your-own Mon–Fri 10–4 and weekends 9–4; the last wagon out leaves at 4 sharp and the fields close at 4:45. Pre-cut trees are out daily 9–6.
