Traditional Tree Farm
Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin · Chippewa County
Opens Nov 27
Opens November 27.
Forty-plus seasons in, Traditional Tree Farm is the Chippewa Valley's stop — several kinds of balsam and white pine spread over acres you can walk into with a saw, plus a pre-cut lot they restock every day for families who'd rather point at one and go.
The little red shack pours hot chocolate, cider and cookies while you warm up, the shop sells handmade wreaths and evergreen decorations, and there's a sleigh parked out front that every kid ends up sitting in for a picture. Professional photo shoots aren't allowed, but your own camera is fine. They've already named opening day for this season: Friday, November 27.
